Vera Mae Fain, 70, Shawnee, died Monday in an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born Nov. 24, 1930, in Kaw City, Okla., to Freddy Franklin Hoisington and Birdie Lorena (Combs) Hoisington.
On Sep 28, 1946, she and Cliffton Reaves Fain were married in Shawnee. Preceding her in death were her husband; her parents; three brothers, Freddie Hoisington, Trueland Hoisington and D.J. Hoisington; and her sister, Lorena Pearl Totty.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Frances Lee and Jerry Rushing, Andrews, Texas; two sons, Cliffton Eugene Fain of Fort Stockton, Texas, and Jack Reaves Fain of Shawnee; two brothers, Aubrey Gene Hoisington of Shawnee and Ken Hoisington of Alaska.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Johnson Cemetery. Leroy Kerbo will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel. |
